Shahwar Shohrat is an enterprising woman leader with extensive experience building businesses from the ground up. A NIFT and AMU alumni, she has multiple first to her name which defies social constraints. She started her fashion line - Shayve and did first mega fashion show in Aligarh. She continues to hold fashion close to her heart, as a designer, stylist, and blogger. She continued with her enterprise while being in Africa for 9 years and set up a successful events company, Nash Events, utilizing her multinational experience in business analytics with IBM. Her recent enterprise, The Luxe Story, has a vision of reviving the handicrafts and rejuvenate them through innovative technology and a global marketplace. Her trust, 'India Talent Treasure' works for the empowerment of artisans to revive the rich handicrafts of India. She actively advocates for women empowerment and entrepreneurship and is affiliated to Womennovator as State Influencer for UP. She is an International Spokesperson for Global Goodwill Ambassador, USA and is certified for Emotional Intelligence (EI) Course 2019. She is President of Women Indian chamber of commerce and industry (WICCI) for Handicrafts sector.
