Dehradun: Today on 10th August, We-Pitch Competition was organized by Womennovator at Sri Guru Ram Rai University in which 15 out of 50 business pitches were selected. Minister of State for Udayamita, Smt. Vinod Uniyal was present as the chief guest in the V Pitch Competition organized by Womanovator at Sri Guru Ram Rai University. Former Minister of State Ravindra Singh Anand, Khadi Board Officer Dr. Alka Pandey, Entrepreneur Madhu Marwa were present as special guests. Apart from this, Training and Placement Coordinator Dr. Manish Mandoli, Dr. Rupa Soni, Dr. Juhi Garg Archana were present on behalf of the college as judges to judge the pitching competition. Yadav Kapoor, Pooja Chauhan and Nivedita Ganguly were present. On this occasion, the women pitched their business, the main objective of which was to show how they wanted help from the government to take their business forward and whether their business idea had any potential. Giving information about this, Priya Gulati, State Head of Womennovator, said that women rarely get such platforms where they can put their business idea in front of people and can expect the government to fund it. Keeping in mind the great need for such a platform these days, this effort was made. 15 people were selected by the jury in which Archana Goyal from Haridwar, Neela Rani from Roorkee, Pooja Rawat from Dehradun, Vedika Khattar and Simran Moga were awarded in the Home Useless category, on the other hand Shreya, Nimesh, Farzana were awarded in the General category and Student category. , Dr. Binu Bhadauria, Princi, Kavita Pal, Aditi Sharma, Sonam Ghai, Jasleen Kaur, Yashika Gupta and Piyush were honored with awards.Giving information, Priya Gulati said that now these 15 people will compete for the National Pitching Competition to be held in Delhi.
