About the Event

Womennovator (Gvriksh) organized a WE- Pitch Chef on 18th February 2020 at Banarsidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology supported by Development Commissioner of Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises,Government of India and Invest India hosted by Rasoi Queen & COWE. Around 30 plus women including Entrepreneurs (Startups/Micro/Small/Medium Enterprises), Professionals/Leaders and Social Activists will participate and pitch about their work.
This Elevator Pitch Series is one of the major initiatives by Womennovator in which the Entrepreneurs, Leaders, and Founders are given 60 seconds to explain the concept and idea of a service or product to a set of jury members. As a result of which the selected pitches offered a bundle of technical and non-technical advantages for the growth and scaling of the company or an idea. It is " For Women & By Women " in 100+ Indian cities and 90+ sectors impacting more than 10,000+ women entrepreneurs in 30+ countries around the world.
Our esteemed Jury Members included: Tripti Shinghal Somani, Founder Womennovator, Veeta Singh, ITDC and influencer- Womennovator, Nita Mehta, Nita Mehta Group, Nita Nagarajan, Chef Nishant Choubey, Chef Gunjan Goela, Chef Osama Jalali, Chef Tarun Sibal, One Fine Meal and Vijay kale, renowned painter/artist.
Ms. Tripti Shinghal Somani believes that the 3 % mandatory procurement policy for Micro and Small and Medium enterprises owned by women which was proposed by her this year. She shares that this has opened tremendous gateways for women owned businesses to work as Vendor with every Central Ministry /Department / Public sector undertakings and Govt offices. During the WE-Pitch she made attendees aware of other govt. and financial institutions support schemes for women.
Womennovator is the First Virtual Incubator for Women, determined to support the cause of women empowerment and entrepreneurship and has endorsed the women empowerment principles of UN Goals – SDG 5: Achieve Gender equality and empower all women and girls.
Womennovator is making a great impact in over 120 smart cities and 91 sectors across India and globally.
The event reflected a confluence of bright new ideas, vision , enthusiasm and entrepreneurship zeal among women.
