About Womennovator ( Gvriksh) Womennovator is the program of Gvriksh (Not for profit society registered under section 12 AA (Section 80G ) of the income tax act ). Gvriksh is also registered with Darpan( Niti Aayog ), which has been actively working ... for women entrepreneurs to help them achieve their ultimate goal. Womennovator is a Global incubator for women supporting Women across the globe and celebrates the triumph stories & records of passionate women who dared to innovate the world and honour them with awards and recognition. It is a Global Incubator for women supporting Women entrepreneurs in scaling operations domestically and internationally and creating distribution networks, Women leaders/ Professionals to be Directors, or become job creators and Women community leaders to be policy change-maker. Impact: Womennovator has created a network of 10,000 women across 50 plus cities in India as well as internationally. The local chapters in each city are headed by curated influencers and mentors through whom we provide assistance. We entered into the Asia Books of Records by having 100 women pitch their products and services in 100 minutes. About Founder - Tripti Shinghal Somani graduated from SRCC and did her master of business law from National Law School Bangalore is a professional Chartered Accountant with 15 years of experience but she is a social entrepreneur at heart. She started Womennovator in 2015, a social impact incubator & platform to foster women entrepreneurship. She has progressive experience in profit and non-profit organisations both large and SMEs including business and financial advisory for various organisations such as PwC, Grant Thornton (GT) & World Bank. She is a CEO of KGS Advisors, a Financial advisory firm. She is the founder and Co-founder of Womennovator, Gvriksh, QueensXI Cricket League and Ex- Chairperson and Ex- Co-Chairperson of Women Entrepreneurship Committee and MSME Committee – PHDCCI from PHD Chamber of Commerce and industry , ASSOCHAM, MEPSC Skill Council. She has served on the governing council of NIESBUD , Ministry of Skill development and entrepreneurship, and also acted as board member to companies like SMC food ( Madhusudan ) and many more . She is an active Tedx speaker and has been honoured as Economic Times Inspiring leaders awards 2022 , Times 40 under 40 Award 2022 and BMW Unstoppable Women awards. To foster leadership among the women, Ms Tripti has always put them in the front so that they open up and take charge. It reflects her strength as a strategic & institutional leader. She believes in creating leaders and not just being a leader. Deviating from the trend, at the age under 40 years, she was appointed on board by our ministerial body NIESBUD, MSME . She is a regular invitee and contributor to policy making round tables by the Ministry. She has suggested having 3% procurement from women entrepreneurs. It was subsequently acknowledged and implemented by the government as a policy and has created a big impact on women procurement .
