About the Event

 

We are hosting a Speed Mentorship session in collaboration with Laxmi Bai College. This event is a key part of our ongoing initiative to provide mentorship opportunities to students and women through our mentor-mentee program, and it builds upon the success of our recent roundtable. 

 

Event Overview: 

Title: Speed Mentorship Session 

Focus: Guiding through Fresh Beginnings  

Target Audience: Students  

Duration: 3 hours (1pm-4pm) 

Date : 29th November 2024 

Venue : Laxmi Bai college  

 

Event Structure: 

  1. Introduction (20 minutes) 

  • Overview of the session and its objectives. 

  • Introduction of mentors from various industries, including education and corporate sectors. 

  1. Mentorship Rounds (90 minutes) 

  • Students will engage in short, focused sessions with mentors. 

  • Each mentor will spend approximately 10 minutes with a group of students before rotating to the next group. 

  • This format allows students to gain diverse insights and career advice. 

  1. Closing Remarks (10 minutes) 

  • Summary of the session. 

  • Feedback collection from participants. 

  • Discussion of next steps and future opportunities.

Womennovator ( Global Incubator for Women), in collaboration with Lakshmibai College, Delhi, successfully hosted a Speed Mentoring Session under the Female Labour Force Participation Ratio (FLFPR) campaign.

On 31st January 2025, we had the privilege of welcoming an esteemed panel of mentors: Prof. (Dr.) Dewakar Goel, Kusum Saini, Digvijay Bhattacharjee, Amit Dubey 👨‍💻 and Mariyam Jannat, who shared their insights on career planning, financial independence, and personal branding with the students. Their guidance empowered young women to make informed decisions and build a strong foundation for their professional journeys.

A heartfelt thank you to Lakshmibai College, Delhi and its dedicated team for their unwavering support in fostering the growth of aspiring women leaders. Special appreciation to Prof. Dr. Alka Harneja for making this session happen.
