International Award “TOP 100 BRICS Entrepreneurs”

About the Event
International Award “TOP 100 BRICS Entrepreneurs” invites young entrepreneurs from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, who successfully developing business on international arena. The Award is held under the patronage of state, public and commercial organizations of BRICS countries. The Chairman of the International Jury of the Award is Boris Titov, Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights at the President of the Russian Federation.
The Award was launched in February 2022. Today more than 200 young entrepreneurs applied for the Award, and shared on the success of their business, their achievements and plans for the future. Those who applied for the Award have already become a part of the international community, whose participants get access to exclusive programs aimed at support of entrepreneurs. The Award is supported by state organizations and business community of the BRICS countries.
Today BRICS has become an influential voice of emerging economies of the world. It unites most promising and rapidly developing economies with sufficient resources to ensure sustainable development.
The Award will facilitate the creation of a community of like-minded people, able to implement joint socio-economic projects, which is the main purpose of the NGO “Leaders of International Cooperation” – the organizers of the International Award “TOP 100 BRICS Entrepreneurs”.
A team of experts – representatives of all five countries and successfully developing international projects within BRICS, has developed a new format for identifying and supporting the most promising entrepreneurs creating a multi-stage program for the development of entrepreneurship among young people. The winners of the Award will be elected by the International Jury on the basis of submitted applications according to the Award nominations. All winners will get an opportunity to undergo an educational program from the best international experts for free and will take part in the Award Ceremony on the sidelines of the BRICS International Business Forum 2022 in Moscow.
Terms of realization:
- February 8, 2022 – launch of the Award;
- July 15, 2022 – deadline for applications;
- July 20, 2022 – announcement of the winners of the Award;
- October 2022 – Award Ceremony on the sidelines of the BRICS International Business Forum;
- July 31 - December 20, 2022 - meetings of the Award winners in the BRICS countries with young people and young entrepreneurs aged 14 to 40 years;
- September 1 - December 1, 2022 - online sessions for the winners of the Award.
Nominations of the Award:
- Social (Social responsibility) - the participation of business in charitable programs, the presence of inclusive programs, work in the social sphere and with unprotected segments of the population is assessed;
- Innovation - availability of patented developments, investments in engineering and technical personnel, introduction of advanced technologies to the market;
- Startup - special nomination for companies existing less than a year;
- Ecology - for businesses actively introducing green technologies, working in the field of environmental preservation and recycling;
- Height (Breakthrough of the Year) - companies that have shown dynamic growth in the current year (growth in profit / revenue, product range, geography, employees) are evaluated;
- Marketing - the nomination includes guidelines for projects brought to the market this year;
- Public Relations - the best information or advertising company of the year. Coverage, creativity, use of new communication channels are assess;
- Health - goods, services and programs are evaluated that contribute to an increase in the duration and quality of life (medicine, sports, tourism, food, etc.);
- Skills - for programs and corporate centers that provide employees with new skills;
- Design - evaluation of design solutions for new products, goods and services.

AdviserValeriia Gorbacheva, Research Fellow of the Asian strategy center, Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, specializing in emerging economies and East Asia, international relations and public diplomacy, global governance and BRICS.... Graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of the St-Petersburg State University (2012), Faculty of International Relations of the MGIMO University (2014), School of World Economy of the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2018). She currently holds the position of GR-Director of the Russian National Committee on BRICS Research, a legal entity created under the auspices of Russian government for Track 2 activities in BRICS. Since 2015, she has been organizing Track 2 activities during Russian BRICS Chairmanship, and coordinating the BRICS Academic and Civil Forums. She is also coordinating the annual BRICS International School in Russia. She is a member of the BRICS Think Tank Council and the South African BRICS Youth Association. In 2019-2020, she was a member of the Secretariat of the BRICS Expert Council. Participant of numerous international conferences in China, India, Brazil and South Africa.
