Womennovator Pioneers and Advances Women's Empowerment in India's with it’s Groundbreaking Initiatives

Dehradun, India - September 26, 2023 -Womennovator, a trailblazing global incubator for women dedicated to empowering and fostering women's development, embarked on an exciting and revolutionary journey. Womennovator launched  a series of impactful projects targeted at catalysing effective change in India's Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities for women. The Womennovator Creators Fest 2023 acted as a launchpad for Womennovator 10K Fellowship Programme -DEWI and the Womennovator Distribution Network,  leading the charge.

On the brilliant autumn morning of September 26, 2023, the famous Governor House in Uttarakhand hosted the Womennovator Creator Fest-Uniting Influential Women for Change—an assembly of over 150 significant female influencers, supporters, and leaders with a cumulative social media reach of more than 100 million. These dynamic innovators and influencers banded together to celebrate female entrepreneurs and provide steadfast support in propelling them to success and freedom. This campaign, appropriately titled "Herstory," exemplified the spirit of solidarity, demonstrating the amazing power women have when they stand together for each other's advancement and success. 

The event was hosted by Government of Uttarakhand and was graced by the honourable  Governor of Uttarakhand Gurmit Singh Ji, a distinguished Indian Army Veteran .He praised and awarded the women influencers & content creators from across India; shortlisted by Womennovator and esteemed Jury members including Archana Gupta -(Director, KEI Industries),Marguerite Soeteman Reijnen - (Former Chairman Aon Holdings), Apurva Chamaria-(Head of Startups & Venture Capital,Google), Pratik Thakker (CEO -INSIDEA Israel) , Qupanuk Olsen (Content Creator Mining Engineer at QS Effect) and Alan Wurman ( Host of Alan Theory from Chile),  amongst others. He highlighted his confidence over how this positive change is affecting women and how Womennovator, with its varied programs, will serve as a guiding beacon, assisting women to break free from the constricting social conceptions and pursue economic prospects and financial independence.

Tripti Shinghal Somani, the founder of Womennovator spoke about the importance that creators hold in the rapidly advancing technology enabled world, and how , Womennovator, with its transformative initiatives will boost not just the presence of women in the economic sector, but also help them upscale and diversify their businesses and employment opportunities through various initiatives like Community Enablement,Stakeholder Capacity,PitchingCompetitions, Incubation and Acceleration.

Womennovator board members launched  the much awaited Womennovator 10K Fellowship Program, an initiative spanning over 200+ districts, impacting the lives of 100 women in each district through the means of providing mentorship, branding, promotion, resources, and a growth platform,to create a robust ecosystem of empowered women entrepreneurs, effectively bridging the information and resource gap that women face.

Mr.Udham Yadhav from Amazon also shared the upcoming venture Go Global:Amazon-Womennovator Partnership which will  help 200 female entrepreneurs to launch their products on Amazon's international websites and marketplaces, expanding their customer base and brand awareness.

In a first-of-its kind initiative, Womennovator leader - Ms Deepali Bhardwaj, Dermatologist &CEO of Centre for Skin and Hair pvt ltd along with other leaders from different cities announced the launch of Womennovator Distribution Network, a cutting-edge platform that enables seamless connections between businesses and last-mile customers. This initiative ensures that revenue generation is placed directly in the hands of women, empowering them to control their own financial destiny by becoming brand ambassadors of big brands and working from home.

Womennovator supporters and long term mentors Mr.Sourabh Goyal-Founder and CEO of Success Brew,and Mr.Nitin Bajaj -Founder and CEO of Easyleadz unveiled the Womennovator Creator Magazine and 100 Power Women Magazine which  hopes to promote the accomplishments and success stories of ambitious and brave Indian women from around the country through this effort.

The launch of these illustrious initiatives was followed by a dazzling Awards Distribution Ceremony, where the contributions of all our aspiring content creators was felicitated by the Governor of Uttarakhand

In her speech, Dr. Blossom Kochhar, the founder of Aroma Magic and a prestigious board member of Womennovator, emphasised the value of empowering women and urged them to embrace their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit for a flourishing community.

Kanika Mittal, the former head of Twitter-India, who revolutionised Twitter's strategies under her dynamic leadership, inspired the audience with her moving tale and comments.She discussed the significance of gender sensitivity and inclusivity in the corporate sector as well as how female empowerment in these settings would successfully shatter the glass ceiling.
