This groundbreaking event, which took place on the 18th of December 2023, was designed to empower women entrepreneurs within the dynamic landscape of procurement. By fostering meaningful connections and facilitating the exchange of vital information between participants and the Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), the program aimed to pave the way for increased opportunities and growth for women-led businesses.

Key Highlights:
- Registered Company Requirement:
- Participants were advised to have a registered company, whether a proprietary firm, Pvt. Ltd, or LLC. This emphasized the importance of legal entity status.
- MSME and Startup Registration:
- MSMEs were encouraged to register with the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, while startups were advised to register with the Department Of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), Startup India.
- Udyam Adhaar Number:
- Emphasis was placed on obtaining the Udyam Adhaar Number along with the relevant NIC code, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Digital Signature Certificate:
- Participants were guided to obtain a Digital Signature Certificate from eMudhra, essential for opening tender documents with encryption.
- NSIC Registration:
- The importance of National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) registration was highlighted, providing businesses with additional credibility.
- Government eMarketplace (GeM):
- Participants were directed to create profiles on GeM, the Government eMarketplace, where all PSU tenders are available. This platform promotes transparency and equal opportunities for all bidders.
- Tender Application Process:
- The application process for tenders was explained, with an emphasis on the anonymity of bidders until the end of the process, eliminating bias or personal connections.

- Udyam Sakhi:
- Udyam Sakhi, a platform dedicated to women in business, was introduced as a resource for detailed knowledge and support.
- Receivables Exchange of India (RXIL):
- Participants were informed about RXIL, a platform where businesses can address delayed payments by facilitating the trading of receivables.
