Radha Goyal has a Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Sciences and Technology and recipient of Institute Research Scholarship to pursue Ph.D. at IIT Delhi. She is Masters in Environment Management from University School of Environmental Management (USEM), IP University. Qualified GATE, UGC –NET, IELTS examinations. She is one of the co- founders of Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA) and holding the position of Deputy Director at since year 2013. IPCA is providing its services at different levels of the society/ community (i.e. schools, colleges, RWAs, Corporate offices, hotels and institutions) by conducting training and awareness programmes, capacity building programmes and disseminating knowledge related to different issues of environment management. Air and Solid Waste Management are the top priority areas, in which IPCA is working since past 23 years and has created more than 500 zero waste colonies and institutions in India (In Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru) under her leadership. She is also leading multiple CSR project on Urban forestry, greenbelts, air pollution control and waste management at IPCA. Prior to join IPCA as Deputy Director, she was working as a Scientist at CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI). She also has international exposure to work with teams from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK, Freeman Hospital (NHS), UK and with Drexel University, USA She has been the resource person to the National Institute of Urban Affairs and to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Govt. of India to build the capacity of officials of urban local bodies (ULBs) in India under Swachh Bharat Mission, Phase II and III. She is Brand Ambassador of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) from West Zone for Swachchta Sarvekshan 2023. She is expert member of Indoor Air Pollution constitution committee of CPCB and of Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change (MOEFCC), Govt. of India to design indoor air quality standards for India. She worked as a technical expert of indoor air quality in "global action plan project of prevention of pneumonia" of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOH&FW), Govt. of India with UNICEF, India She is expert technical member and reviewer of Social Audit Standards (SAS) for Sustainability Reporting and Standard Board (SRSB), reviewer of BRSR of top companies applied for sustainability Award of Institute of Charted Accountants of India (ICAI), India. She is the Co- Founder of the Society for Indoor Environment (SIE) – A think tank to MoEFCC and CPCB for Indoor air quality research. She is into the advisory committee of the event series of “Climate Goals: Technological Roadmap to Net Zero” of ICCSA Foundation, in association with knowledge partners CSIR, AIILSG, CII, IIM Ahmedabad, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Bhubaneswar and SERI. She has 40+ publications in leading national and international journals and is also a reviewer for prominent journals such as Elsevier and Springer and in their editorial boards.
