Key Achievements of VCI Since its incorporation in July 2025, VCI has demonstrated strong execution momentum and early commercial traction in the smart energy and climate-tech space. Within a short span, VCI has successfully completed three Proof of Concepts (PoCs), validating the technical robustness and real-world applicability of its AI- and IoT-powered Smart Energy Management System (SEMS). These PoCs directly translated into two active commercial Purchase Orders, reflecting strong customer confidence and market demand. VCI has secured ₹24 lakhs in confirmed supply orders and an additional ₹2 crore in contracted SaaS revenue over five years, establishing a solid recurring revenue pipeline and a scalable business model. The startup has also received significant ecosystem validation through two Government grants, supporting product development and pilot deployments, along with equity investment support from STPI, further strengthening its financial and institutional backing. VCI is incubated at IIT Kanpur and is mentored by STPI, benefiting from world-class technical guidance, startup mentoring, and industry access. This combination of early customer traction, grant support, institutional incubation, and recurring revenue contracts positions VCI as a high-potential, execution-driven startup in the sustainable energy and infrastructure intelligence domain.
