I, Nidhi Virmani, wish to take you all on a journey of my life which is filled with wonders, challenges and dedication of overpowering hurdles. I have taken over many roles overcoming unfavourable and unavoidable situations. I am proud to been a businesswoman, a mother, a wife, a leader and a frontrunner, all in the last few years ! I am a multitasker. Having been associated with a prominent Indian multinational pharmaceutical business Cipla as a sales representative and climbed the ladder of corporate leadership within 15 years, I headed the position of Zonal Manager. Needless to say, that was a road with hurdles when I started off as an apprentice at Cipla while chasing my dreams of pursuing Masters. I have been blessed to earn experience in all areas of Management namely HR, training, strategy development, sales and marketing. Because of my hard work, I was awarded with Rising Entrepreneur (Education) by Powerful Women Transforming Nation Awards 2022 for my contribution towards Women Empowerment. I am an entrepreneur. It is never an easy choice for a woman to prioritise her roles especially when she is a mother too. It was the same dilemma that I faced when I was on the peak of my corporate zone and was missing out quality time with my kids. Being inspired with the love and care of little kids I had at home, I started KidsGro which not only satiated my thirst of utilising my managerial skills but pushed me closer to a homely and passionate environment that I was yearning for. I won Star Award for KidsGro in 2020, by Karyashala Foundation & WeWomen Facebook Group. I am a social influencer. I am associated with various start-ups and motivate new talent to ignite the fire of creativity. I have been fortunate to be invited as an Eminent Speaker at Fempreneur Conference & Awards 2022 and awarded Influencer Star Award 2021 (Edtech), issued by Karyashala Foundation. I am a community builder. The emotionally tough times of Covid in 2020 pushed me closer to the lives of people around me. I started putting in efforts to help my community in their financial, emotional and humanistic needs. No matter my preschool was shut down due to this emergency, another door opened in the form of Online Schooling. This door unlocked many newer opportunities where my urge to touch lives went beyond boundaries and 25 teachers working alongside me were on a mission to serve over 650 children in India, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Canada, the UK, and the United Arab Emirates. I have been privileged enough to be honoured with precious honours- COVID Warrior, Education Support Award, Winner, 2022, Certificate of Appreciation for outstanding support & humanity work at this critical situation of Covid-19 by Navdrishti, Educational & Welfare society. I am a forerunner and I realised that I was blessed with wings, gifted to me by my mother who has been an inspiration behind my firm will-power and continuous dedication. Hence, quite understandably my dream project PRATIBHALAYA- Abode of talent was named after my inspiration- my mother ‘Pratibha’. She is now watching this dream growing by leaps and bounds.
