About the Event
W-TALK events are gathering momentum and greater visibility ,with each successive event, where W-TALKers participating in W-TALK events, share their inspiring and extraordinary stories, thoughts, ideas and experiences. It helps the audience to become aware about how women entrepreneurship has become a boom in India thus triggering a cascading effect on their zeal and enthusiasm. Currently, women entrepreneurs may not be much visible on the radar, in overall women occupy 30% of corporate senior management positions, which is notably higher than the global average (24 percent). It is a great opportunity to learn and get enlightened by amazing WOMEN TALKers and Speakers.
Ms Tripti also shared about the 3 % mandatory procurement policy for Micro and Small and Medium enterprises owned by women which was proposed by her this year. She shared that this has opened tremendous gateways for women owned businesses to work as Vendor with every Central Ministry
/Department / Public sector undertakings and Govt offices. During the W-talk she made attendees aware of other govt. and financial institutions support schemes for women.

LataSuresh introduced everyone and shared the success stories of all entrepreneurs. Mr. #AnilKhaitan shared that “97%-98% of the things that happen is not in our control, if you have #perseverance, #passion, #patience, there is no power in world that can stop you and if all the women in india start working they will add 1 trillon to GDP.” Ms.
Sakshi Tanwar was feeling nostalgic after seeing the campus and after seeing all the jury members she wish to do her own startup. Ms. Archana shared “how she restarted her department when it was on urge of closing down, and then it turned profitable in 1 year. She also shared her journey from businesswoman from a housemaker.” Ms. Meeta inspired to be focused on “where you want to go and what you want to achieve.” Ms. Pavleen shared that “she has always worked with good people. Earlier when she was doing films, society was not supporting her, but for branding, just keep working hard.” Mr. Harsh shared that “passion is gemstone for creating anything, focus is always important, without focus we can't achieve anything. To all the entrepreneurs, don't just sell your product, compel people to buy your products.” Mr. Kamal shared that “50,000 cr is reserved for women entrepreneurs, 10 lakh is given to all the incubators. Khadi products are also promoted by giving schemes, and also there are product improvement schemes by govt.” Mr. Paresh shared that “women are great in managing things, but what lacks is the risk taking in women. There is a saying that behind every successful man, there is a woman but he believes that behind every successful woman there is a man.”
The event reflected a confluence of bright new ideas, vision , enthusiasm and entrepreneurship zeal among women.
